Delfoi Planner Lite replaces spreadsheet applications used in production planning. The software enables finite capacity planning and makes it possible to change and modify plans quickly and effortlessly on the fly. Planning time may drop from hours to minutes. Scheduled plans can be verified visually in Gantt charts, e.g. in terms of material shortage, delays or progress.

With Delfoi Planner Lite’s MES capability scheduled work orders can be published to the production and from there confirmation of work done can be sent to the production planning in real time. The software makes it possible to create sales forecasts and to deliver verified information about dates of manufacture and delivery times to the sales department.

The possibility to integrate the software into an ERP system also improves resource planning. The procurement and purchasing department receives detailed information on date and time of manufacture of various products as well as actual production volumes. Also more accurate details regarding inventory balance are available and, thus, the purchasing department has more detailed information on acquisition times at its disposal.  Cost monitoring and control gets improved as Delfoi Planner Lite collects information about actual time spent on orders.

 

Production Chain Management

Delfoi Planner enables transparent management of complete production chain starting from component manufaturing and ending to the final assembly. No matter if the production units are situated remotelly from each other all the changes or diturbances in production are instantly rescheduled trough the entire chain from subcontractor or component factory to OEM.

  

Production Planning and Scheduling 

The production planner can download orders from the ERP system or create them independently by using Delfoi Planner Lite application. Orders can be scheduled by drag and drop in a Gantt chart.

The orders include product structure, process stages and possible resource choices. The planner can make order-specific changes to any order. Need for resources and personnel and the corresponding shift models are taken into consideration during planning. In addition availability of materials and components can be checked.

The complete plan can be examined as a whole as a Gantt view or in the form of scheduled work orders at the resource, resource group or personnel level. Employees can begin and end their tasks directly in the work order list, which makes it possible to monitor work progress in the Gantt view as well. Order- and process-specific time spent on each task is saved through confirmations of work done or by saving it individually.
