ARC welding and laser welding
Delfoi ARC is a parametric and feature-based robot offline programming software. It can effectively exploit the features of a 3D CAD model and the internal WPS (Welding Procedure Specification) database of the software. Program generation is fast and faultless. Production downtime will be less than one-tenth of the downtime that would normally be needed when programming a robot online by teaching. Over 400 welding companies globally employ Delfoi’s arc welding application including Caterpillar, CNH Industrial, John Deere Forestry, Ponsse, and Volvo Construction Equipment.
Delfoi Auto ARC is new automatic offline programming software for structural steel and ship building industries.
Delfoi SPOT is a fast, user-friendly, parametric and feature based robot offline programming software. The software can effectively utilise the features of a 3D CAD model. The necessary tools can be created in the software’s internal tool library, where the geometrical information is generated automatically. It is possible to create programs quickly and without the need for trial and error, and regardless of the robot brand.
Cutting, deburring and finishing
Delfoi CUT is software that has been designed for the offline programming of robots in different 3D cutting processes. The programme uses the object’s 3D form curves to automatically generate tool paths, for example, along the contours of the product to be grinded. Programming is fast with no production down-time, and the quality is excellent from the very first product. Typical processes include water jet cutting, plasma cutting and laser cutting. Our customers include ABB, BNFL, Metso Power and Saint Gobain Automotive.
Delfoi RoboCAM is an offline programming solution designed for machining, milling, grinding, polishing, surfacing and cleaning three-dimensional surfaces and work pices with robots. The programme utilises the 3D form data of the object and automatically creates tool paths on the object or surface. Our customers include ABB, Sulzer Pumps, Ponsse, and NSC (National Steel Car).
Various Surface Processing
Delfoi SURF-X is a fast and user-friendly robot offline programming software for various robotized surface processing tasks, like polishing, buffing, sanding, grinding, and coating. Program creation is based on ability to effectively utilise the surface features and topology of a 3D CAD model. Versatile and parametric path creation tools enable rapid and easy creation of different tool path patterns on surfaces. Simulation and visual analysing of robot programs for quality off-line prior to any trial and error testing on shop floor using actual robot hardware and prototype parts is a huge advantage by saving time and reducing costs significantly. The software supports all major robot brands used in surface treatment processes.
Painting and Coating
Delfoi PAINT is a software designed for the offline programming of painting and coating applications using robots. The software can be used to simulate the completed painting process in a way that is versatile and simple. For example, the correlation between the thickness of the paint coat and the painting speed can be easily verified even during off-line programming. The offline programming of a painting robot utilises geometric surface data from the 3D CAD model. The software generates the robot’s positioning points at the desired distance from the product surface at the desired orientation (angle) and incorporating the desired interval points or movement model (pattern). Delfoi PAINT includes analysing tools, which are used to project and evaluate the end result, such as surface quality and coating thickness, in advance. The analysis also helps to minimise overspraying.
